Any mistakes at the UK border and the animals will have to stay in France (or at worst be returned to Tunisia...IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK, or the stress!) *

 

Note this process will take a minimum of 4 months to ensure the animal is legally allowed to enter the EU. This may extend by a few months if they fail their titre test and need another vaccination.

- YOU RABIES VACCINATE YOUR PET (AFTER IT HAS BEEN MICROCHIPPED) 

- YOU VACCINATE YOUR PET

- YOU PROVIDE FLEA/TICK TREATMENT

- YOU KEEP SAFELY HOLD OF ALL THE VET DOCUMENTATION FOR YOUR PET

- YOU TAKE YOUR PET TO THE VETS TO GET A BLOOD SAMPLE TAKEN AFTER 1 MONTH (RANA WILL ADVISE ON BEST LAB)

- YOU POST THE BLOOD SAMPLE OFF TO THE EU LABRATORY & COMPLETE THE FORM SENT TO YOU BY RANA.

- YOU LOOK AFTER YOUR PET/MAKE SAFE BOARDING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE 4 MONTHS

- YOU BUY YOUR OWN TRAVEL BOX/CARRIER (ONBOARD HAS TO BE SOFT CARRIER) & GET YOUR ANIMAL TO THE AIRPORT

 

3 MONTHS LATER, A FEW WEEKS BEFORE YOU ARE DUE TO TRAVEL, RANA BECOME INVOLVED...

 

- YOU BRING YOUR PET TO A RANA APPROVED VETERINARY CLINIC *very important, as only a few vets in Tunisia do the proceedure to EU/UK standards

- RANA COMPLETE ALL TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION WHICH REQUIRES ENTRY TO EU

- RANA PROVIDE EXPERT GUIDANCE AT CHECK IN & TRANSPORT TO AIRPORT.

- RANA BOOK YOUR ANIMAL'S FLIGHT ON AIR FRANCE (AN APPROVED AIRLINE WHICH ACCEPTS ANIMALS), ONCE BOOKING INFORMATION HAS BEEN PASSED ON. (BUT YOU CAN ALSO BOOK YOUR PET & THE OTHER ANIMALS ON WHILST YOU ARE MAKING YOUR FLIGHT BOOKING, WE CAN SEND YOU THE REQUIRED INFORMATION)

- A TEAM FROM RANA COLLECT YOU FROM THE AIRPORT AT PARIS (CDG) & DRIVE BACK TO THE UK VIA THE EURO TUNNEL, ARRIVING IN DOVER AROUND 9-10PM. 

- THE RANA TEAM WILL BE ABLE TO DOUBLE CHECK ALL PAPERWORK & ENSURE ANIMAL GETS SAFE ENTRY TO THE UK AT THE BORDER IN CALAIS. 

 

*PLEASE NB: the condition of our involvement with this package is that as well as bringing your own pet on the flight, you also max out the per person quota (of 4 animals).

Meaning that you help save the lives of 3 other rescued animals.

 

RANA cover all costs associated with these animals, so it will be at no extra burdon to you. Someone will be there to assist at check in, so your interaction with these 3 additional animals will be minimal.

Simply collecting them from the conveyor belt in Paris & wheeling them through to a member of our team at the other side.

 

Involving 4 animals keeps YOUR costs as low as possible,  as the total expenses of fuel, hire car, tolls, EuroTunnel are split 4 ways, rather than 1....and you get to save more lives! BONUS
