With many animals to care for, comes a lot of fur, which can damage the washing machine over time. (See 2nd image for Meriam's washing machine that broke after a lot of strain)
 
Many rescuer's don't have washing machines and have to hand wash. By purchasing a washing machine for them to do the heavy lifting, this will dramatically reduce the strain on them and free them up to take care of the animals and have an easier life to focus on things that matter.
