NB: due to Covid restrictions there is potentially a long lead time on when we can bring dogs into the UK, if you are ok to wait, we would love to hear from you! Jon is one of a kind. He is great with all people, children and other dogs, but gets over looked due to his size.
He was saved almost 3 years ago where he was spotted being hung from a tree in a rural village outside of Tunis. He had attacked a sheep (more than likely due to starvation) so his owner was going to kill him with an electrical cord. Thankfully the shelter worker spotted him swinging from the tree and the man agreed to give him to the shelter. The shelter has around 200 dogs and John walked in and instantly became the peace keeper. He sits with puppies when they arrive and body blocks the weaker dogs who get picked on. When fights break out amongst, what is the equivalent of an open Mexican prison, he wades in and head butts the aggressor out of the way and stands his ground to stop the fights.
