When Naya was found on the street in Tunis by one of our wonderful flight buddies, it was likely she'd been hit by a car and been suffering for a little while. She had lost one eye completely and her remaining eye didn't look good. She could hardly walk. She was rushed to the vet where it was found that she had a fractured pelvis and partially displaced femur which were both operated on. Her missing eye was cleaned and sewn up. On top of this it was found that she was also pregnant. Naya won the hearts of the vet team who cared for her - she was calm, friendly and so eager to be loved despite being put through various surgeries.

Today Naya is in a foster home and she has made a great recovery. She has sight in her remaining eye and can walk, run and jump, although she does have a slight limp. She is the sweetest girl, full of love. She deserves nothing but the best life going forward and we're looking for a very special family for her. Naya is great with other cats but at the moment is cautious around dogs so ideally a dog-free home would suit her best. She's not been exposed to young children so slow introductions would be needed. Naya's dob: Nov 22.
