Anis was found by our rescuer Emna, sleeping under a woman’s car near the vets. The woman got in the car and drove off, ignoring Emna’s frantic waves and heartbreakingly, ran over Anis and left him to die in the road.
Emna picked him up and shouted for help from the vet. Luckily, they managed to get Anis into emergency care, where the vet worked hard to save him. He was hospitalised for 3 weeks for his injuries. Amazingly, he made it through. What a miracle cat! He has lost his sight in one eye and has a slight tilt when he raises his head, but otherwise unscathed.
Anis is a super loving cat with a strong nurturing character, even acting as a surrogate mum to young kittens that Emna rescues. He is currently in Foster in London, UK. Anis would love outdoor space as he looks longingly out of the window, so a home with a safe outdoor space would be incredible. His foster describes him as an adorable, giant loving teddy bear with endless kisses. He deserves his peace, love and safety, could it be with you?
